Music promoter and NRM enthusiast Balaam Barugahara has threatened to stage protests in Kampala against Gen. Muhoozi’s decision to retire from the army.
First son Muhoozi Kainerugaba and the commander of land forces has this afternoon announced on his Twitter account that he is retiring from the UPDF after 28 years of service.
“After 28 years of service in my glorious military, the greatest military in the world, I am happy to announce my retirement. Me and my soldiers have achieved so much! I have only love and respect for all those great men and women that achieve greatness for Uganda everyday.”
This came as a shock to Balaam and he prepares to take action.
On a Second thought we shouldn’t celebrate early retirement of one of our Youngest & most trained Officer @mkainerugaba . As peace Loving Ugandans we shall seek permission from IGP to permit us hold demonstrations in all Major cities to force MK back to UPDF.Finish the Tasks pic.twitter.com/Zo7oMO68dg

”I will seek permission from the IGP to permit us to hold demonstrations in all cities to force Muhoozi back to the army, we shall also ask CIC not to allow that early retirement,”
said Balaam.
”No to abrupt retirement. Best Generals don’t retire at below 50,” he noted.
Muhoozi is believed to be soon launching a political career since his project has already been running
