Late Oulanyah’s son declared sole NRM candidate for Omoro county

Following a meeting held at Rwakitura in Kiruhura district, contestants who were aspiring to replace Jacob Oulanyah’s vacant seat in Omoro district have resolved to step aside and leave Andrew Ojok Oulanyah to hold the NRM flag.

The meeting was called by the National chairman of NRM Yoweri Kaguta Museveni on Tuesday.

All the aspirants and representatives were permitted to express their opinion and sell their candidate.

In attendance, was Okello Douglas the current LCV chairman Omoro, Olal Obong, Acellem Ben and Francis Okello.

Others were Rwot Ochan, Jimmy Lumala, Bishop Godfrey Loum, Onyuk Andrew and NRM party electoral chairman Tanga Odoi.

Nominations will be held on May 13 2022 at Omoro district council hall.

Andrew Ojok recently resigned from his position at the national information technology authority where he has been working as a senior specialist
