Catherine Kusasira has reportedly quit Golden Band 24 hours after Mesarch Semakula had confirmed his departure.
This website understands that Kusasira also decided to leave the band following the departure of Semakula.
Following the departures of Semakula and Kusasira the future of the band is currently uncertain.
Last month, Kusasira and Ronald Mayinja were the only Band directors who attended the auditions that were organized by the band in a bid to recruit new talented musicians.
Semakula was however not in attendance during the auditions.
For starters, Golden Band started in 2014 after the split of Eagles production. The move saw the likes of Mayinja, Semakula, Kusasira, Micheal Kinene, Doreen Mutiibwa form the now Golden Band.
Geoffrey Lutaaya and Irene Namatovu who were also key pillars in Eagles Productions formed their own band which was named Da Nu Eagles.
Kusasira and Semakula join Dr.Hilderman, Carol Nantongo and Maureen Nantume who earlier left the band.
