Beenie Man explains why his collabo with Dr Jose Chameleone has no video

Jamaica’s legendary dancehall singer Anthony Moses Davis more known as Beenie Man is already in Uganda.

He’s slated to perform on a show that will happen tomorrow 11th November at Lugogo Cricket Oval.

It however won’t be the Dude singer’s first performance in Uganda.

Beenie Man first performed in the country in 2009 and on that occasion recorded a song with Uganda’s Dr Jose Chameleone.

This song is called ‘How We Go’ and it was a massive banger.

The song unfortunately doesn’t have a video as tje teo singers didn’t shoot one.

Appearing in a press conferenc at Skyz Hotel in Naguru, Beenie Man said that the reason the video wasn’t shot is because it wasn’t his song.

He was only featured and there was no way he would put efforts in promoting a song that wasn’t his.

It was therefore Chameleone’s team who had to promote the song because he had his own songs to promote.

Beenie Man however applauded the song saying it was a good one.

“The video wasn’t shot because the song wasn’t mine. It was theirs and I was just featured. I therefore couldn’t put efforts in promoting a song that wasn’t mine when the owners weren’t minding about it. It was however a good song,” said Beenie Man.

He will perform alongside
Nigeria’s Oxlade, South Africa’s Focalistic, as well as Mellow and Sleeazy and Uganda’s Vinka, Azawi and Winnie Nwagi at Lugogo Cricket Oval.
