Dr Hilderman slams musicians over the copyright law

Hillary Kiyanga, a musician who is now a politician and goes by Dr. Hilderman, has expressed his displeasure with musicians for not supporting him in his attempt to pass copyright legislation.

Hilderman clarified that in the struggle for copyright laws, musicians betrayed him by turning on him in favor of the government.

He claimed that because the administration has prioritized freebies over adopting legislation, the process has been delayed.

“I was betrayed by you musicians who refused to back me up in the bid for the copyright law. You chose to dine with Sevo, and you can see how the process has stalled. You should come out, and we fight for our rights instead of handouts,” he partly said at the National Theatre during the mourning of musician Adam Mulwana.
