Over her 23-year profession, rider Anne Dunham gained 10 Paralympic medals

Paralympic equestrian star Anne Dunham died on Sunday on the age of 76.

Ms Dunham, from Wiltshire, was a world champion rider with a profession spanning 23 years.

Beginning on the Atlanta Video games in 1996, Ms Dunham gained 10 Paralympic medals, six of them gold.

Ms Dunham had grown up with a love of horses, working in a stables from an early age, and he or she was decided not to surrender on the game when she was recognized with a number of sclerosis on the age of 27.

Ms Dunham’s Paralympic golds included 5 crew wins between Atlanta and Rio and a person gold in Beijing in 2008.

She gained 32 main World Championship dressage medals, together with 19 golds.

Ms Dunham retired in 2017 on the age of 68.

She stated it had been a “arduous determination”, however she knew it was proper and “time to present others an opportunity”.

She was awarded an OBE in the identical 12 months for providers to Para-sport.
