Botes Names 20-Participant Squad for CECAFA » The Touchline Sports activities


Uganda girls’s nationwide workforce head coach, Sheryl Botes, has formally named a 20-player squad for the upcoming 2025 CECAFA Ladies’s Championship, set to happen from June 12 to 21 on the Azam Complicated in Chamazi, Tanzania.

Botes, who continues to construct her legacy with the Crested Cranes, opted for a squad largely comprised of domestically primarily based gamers, with only one foreign-based inclusion, winger Margret Kunihira of Tanzanian facet Caessia Queens.

The squad will assemble on Sunday, June 8, for the ultimate preparations earlier than flying out to Tanzania on Tuesday, June 10. Uganda enters the event because the defending champions, having lifted the title in 2022 on residence soil.

The Crested Cranes’ first fixture is predicted on June 12 because the championship kicks off in Tanzania.
