Moses Itauma’s promoter Frank Warren says his heavyweight is joyful to combat Kubrat Pulev subsequent after the match-up was ordered by the WBA.

Pulev, the WBA’s ‘Common’ champion, was ordered to defend his belt in opposition to the 20-year-old rising star.

Staff Itauma has been contemplating a combat for the Englishman in December, with Derek Chisora suggesting he would share a card with Itauma on 13 December in Manchester.

Queensberry boss Warren has cooled speak of an imminent combat with the likes of Oleksandr Usyk, however says Itauma “is already probably the greatest heavyweights in world boxing”.

“Our job is to make the appropriate fights for him on the proper time,” Warren stated.

“I have been in boxing 47 years and at his age, 20 years of age, he’s the perfect younger expertise at that age that I’ve ever been concerned with, and I have been concerned with 99% of the highest British fighters and different fighters from world wide.”
