A shortlist of six contenders has been introduced for the 2025 BBC Sports activities Persona of the 12 months award.

England footballers Hannah Hampton and Chloe Kelly, rugby union participant Ellie Kildunne, darts participant Luke Littler, golfer Rory McIlroy and Formulation 1 driver Lando Norris are the nominees.

Voting will happen through the present on BBC One and the BBC iPlayer on Thursday, 18 December.

The programme – offered by Gabby Logan, Alex Scott and Clare Balding, and broadcast dwell from MediaCityUK in Salford – will have a good time 12 months of unbelievable sporting motion.

Different prizes awarded on the evening embrace Younger Sports activities Persona of the 12 months, Coach of the 12 months, Lifetime Achievement and the Helen Rollason Award.

The World Sport Star award, for which voting is open, will even be offered.
