The quarterfinal stage draw of the Pepsi College Soccer League has been carried out on Friday at Kati Kati Restaurant in Lugogo.
The draw was graced by the AUUS First Vice President Martha Soigi, who can also be the Sports activities Tutor at Kampala College, alongside Crimson Rhino boss Obal Atubo and League Supervisor Anthony Tumwesigye.
Throughout the draw the certified eight groups have been divided into two pots with Pot A comprising of group winners with the best variety of factors whereas Pot B included three runners-up and the group winner with comparatively fewer factors.
Pot A had Kampala College, Muteesa I Royal College, Ndejje College and YMCA Complete. Pot B had St Lawrence College, Kumi College, Uganda Martyrs College and Bugema College.
Based on the organisers, groups in Pot B will host the primary leg fixtures of the quarterfinal ties.
Two-time champions Kampala College, who topped Group A with 13 factors, have been paired in opposition to Bugema College whereas defending champions Uganda Martyrs College will battle Muteesa I Royal College.
Three-time runners up St Lawrence College will lock horns with Ndejje College in a repeat of final season’s quarterfinal conflict, whereas debutants Kumi College will entertain YMCA Complete within the different quarterfinal.
The primary legs fixtures are slated for Tuesday, twenty fourth to Friday twenty seventh with the return legs set for the next week to find out who advances to the semifinal stage.
