Evelyn Namulondo on her desire to seek the Makindye West Member of Parliament seat

There have been rumors floating around for months now about Namulondo wanting to run for the Makindye West MP seat.

According to reports, Namulondo was just awaiting approval from the party after presenting her goals to the National Unity Platform leadership.

On the other hand, the actress has said very little about it. Namulondo did not corroborate or refute the reports during a conversation with Spark TV.

“I will discuss that at the right time. It will all come out to you, but it’s not the time to talk about that,” she said in part.

If Namulondo decides to compete for the job, she will have fierce competition from Allan Sewanyana, the current head of NUP’s institutions, Speaker Zahrah Luyirika of the KCCA, and David Musiri.
