Mukono Municipality Member of Parliament Hon. Betty Nambooze has attacked the first family for instilling greed in the population.
Nambooze gave an example of Natasha the daughter to President Museveni who broke down and cried at the thanks giving ceremony after her mother had been elected as MP for Ruhaama County in 2011.
The Mukono legislator said this while appearing at NBS TV Barometer on Tuesday
“When Janet Museveni contested for MP race and won, her daughter Natasha broke down and cried at the thanksgiving party, saying God doesn’t forget the poor.”
If the first lady is one of the poor, what hope do the rest have? Said Nambooze
She added,
“That’s why when the position of Speakership fell vacant, you can now see over four ministers running after it.”
