Mpaka records CEO and former UMA president Benda has given his full support to King Saha’s UMA presidential bid.

As various artists continue to pick up forms and show interest in taking up the various elective positions on the new UMA executive committee, the latest is King Saha who wants to be the next president.

The vocalist showed his intentions to run for the main office while appearing on NBSs after 5 show and went ahead to pick forms from the UMA offices.

Now Saha’s bid has been boosted by the endorsement of fellow artist and former UMA president Ykee Benda.

“This association was formed to bring the industry together to make sure we equally benefit, we need a strong leadership that can be trusted.”

“The reason I am voting for King Saha is because I trust him, I’ve dealt with him for the past five years. He is a man of his word and I trust him to be my president because he knows how bad we need this to work” Ykee wrote on his Facebook book page.

I VOTE FOR KING SAHA AS THE PRESIDENT OF UMA and kindly VOTE FOR KING SAHA, he concluded.

Other artists that have reportedly shown interest in the presidency are out going president Cindy Sanyu and Daddy Andre.

UMA will go to polls later this year after the expiration of the current term of office.
