Uganda’s representatives (St Mary’s SS Kitende) on the CAF Africa Colleges championship have been flagged off on Tuesday Thirty first-March at St.Mary’s Stadium Kitende.
The group that contains of 20 athletes and 6 coaches was flagged off by the commissioner for Bodily Training and Sports activities Rev.Canon Dr.Duncans Mugumya.
Justus Mugisha, the President USSSA, applauded St Mary’s SS Kitende for the consistency within the competitions,
“A particular applause to St.Marys SS Kitende for his or her consistency in all of the sports activities competitions. We simply want the easiest we all know they’ll make us proud as they’ve at all times executed.”
FUFA CEO Edgar Watson Ssubi, who represented the FUFA president, suggested the athletes to present all of it each time an opportunity comes their means,
“I want to respect Mr. Justus Mugisha for at all times lobbying for Uganda, Dr. Lawrence Mulindwa’s efforts, and love for soccer will at all times be appreciated,”
“To you the athletes you’re representing Uganda so you shouldn’t underestimate time do your greatest as your time is now.”
Canon Mugumya, who can also be a part of the travelling delegation, thanked all people who have supported college sports activities,
“I congratulate you all for this milestone in addition to thank all people who have supported college sports activities we’ve achieved so much, Dr Mulindwa has labored arduous in the direction of the infrastructure growth.”
“Expensive athletes, kindly use this chance and make us proud. Uganda is behind you.”
That is the fourth version of the CAF Africa Colleges Soccer Championship and can happen between 2nd April to tenth of the identical month in Harare Zimbabwe.
