FUFA Ladies Tremendous League champions, Kampala Queens FC, have formally appointed Shakirah Nankwanga as their new membership captain forward of the 2025 CAF Ladies’s Champions League Zonal Qualifiers.
The announcement was made on Wednesday afternoon via the membership’s official social media platforms, marking a brand new management chapter for the “Queens of Soccer” as they gear up for continental competitors.
Nankwanga takes over the armband from Shamirah Nalugya, who left the membership on the finish of the 2024/25 season to affix FC Minsk in Belarus. Her management will now be complemented by Jamirah Nabulime, who has been named vice-captain.
