Australia have named all-rounder Sophie Molineux as their ladies’s captain throughout all codecs to take over from the retiring Alyssa Healy.
Wicketkeeper Healy introduced earlier this month she is going to retire from all types of cricket following the upcoming multi-format sequence towards India.
Healy, 35, will not be a part of the squad for the T20 internationals that begin the sequence, so Molineux, 28, will take cost of Australia for the primary time within the opener on 15 February.
She’s going to then be Healy’s deputy for the next one-day internationals and the one-off Check in Perth, which might be Healy’s last skilled look.
