The Uganda Premier League Secretariat has made changes within the matchday 23 fixtures.
The UPL Secretariat confirmed the modifications on Thursday revealing that they’re as a result of forthcoming FIFA U17 Ladies’s World Cup Qualifier sport between Uganda and Zimbabwe slated for 18th April 2026.
“The UPL Secretariat hereby informs you of changes to chose Matchday 23 fixtures of the StarTimes Uganda Premier League 2025/26 season. These modifications come up from Official communication from FUFA confirming the FIFA U17 Ladies’s World Cup Qualifier (Uganda vs Zimbabwe) scheduled for Saturday, 18 April 2026 at FUFA Stadium, Kadiba (4:00 PM), leading to a venue conflict,” the assertion reads.
In the meantime, KCCA and NEC raised issues relating to the feasibility of internet hosting the initially scheduled double deader at MTN Omondi Stadium, Lugogo.
The fixtures which were rescheduled embrace the mouthwatering contest between SC Villa and Vipers SC which can now be performed performed on Wednesday, 15 April 2026 | 8:00 PM at FUFA Stadium, Kadiba.
The encounter between KCCA FC vs Kitara FC will is now slated for Friday, 17 April 2026 (8:00 PM) at MTN Omondi Stadium, Lugogo whereas NEC FC vs Maroons FC shall be performed on Saturday, 18 April 2026 (8:00 PM) at MTN Omondi Stadium, Lugogo.
