After about a fortnight off air, the NTV Monday sports night is back but with a different vibe. The show was put to a temporary stop after the exit of celebrated sports presenter Andrew Kabuura.
However this new show won’t be called the Pressbox anymore after Kabuura threatened to sue NTV if they use the name.
They have adopted a new one and the show will be dubbed the NTV Monday Knight Sports. It will have a new face and this will be Patrick Kanyomozi.
Kanyomozi who is the current president of USPA is not a new face in Ugandan television circles especially in the sports arena.
He’s previously worked on UBC TV as a sports analyst and commentator on Kwese sports.
Kanyomozi is currently working with KFM another Nation Media affiliated group just like as NTV.
The show is slated to kick off on the 16th of May 2022.
These are my friends & brothers in this line of duty. We have grown in this field together & 💯 believe in them when it comes to execution & delivery on an assignment. A brand new sports show on @ntvuganda starts today at 10pm. Ladies & Gentlemen, meet the #NTVSportKnights pic.twitter.com/ZDfLPLlWsN
