Faded female singer Leila Kayondo has revealed that she’s not dating local playwright and actor John Ssegawa. Ssegawa a renowned city casanova was spotted kissing Leila some time ago but the singer brushed it off.
She revealed that they were simply caught in the moment. Further Leila says that she’s dating someone and doesn’t want to publicize her relationship. The Awo singer wondered why people are so interested in her love life yet she doesn’t snoop around in theirs.
Further, Leila said that Ssegawa is her best friend and mentor. He’s someone who has been around in her life for long.
“I have no words to describe Segawa because he’s heaven sent for me. I have known him for quite long dating to my S.6 vacation in 2011. He’s been my mentor and best friend over the years and was there even when I lost my parents. He’s someone I can count on in times of need.
I’m not dating him but if I do I will let the public know since they are so interested in my love life. And if there is a picture of me kissing him, its nothing and maybe we were just lost in that moment,” the singer said.
Kayondo also refuted rumors that have always had it how SK Mbuga used to chew her beans. Leila days that the two were simply business partners and she had known him for quite long.
She however regrets the day she ever met and started mingling with him. According to Leila, Mbuga no longer trespasses on her premises after her previous warning to him.
