Flavia Tumusiime bids farewell to Capital FM’s AM-PM show

 

Veteran media personality Flavia Tumusiime has bid farewell to the AM-PM show on Capital FM.

She has been presenting the program that runs from Monday to Friday between 10am-3pm for a couple of years now.

Flavia joined the radio station in 2006 and has been there for a period of 16 years.

She thanked Capital FM for banking on her at a time she was still a teenager with no experience at all.

Flavia also had the fans and listeners to thank that have been there for her for this long.

She revealed how she’s decided to pursue something else.

However, Flavia revealed that this is surely not the end for her on the radio station as she will soon be back in another position.

“Good morning.

Tomorrow 31st August will be my final show at Capital FM for the mid morning show. Its been a life and a carer changing experience for me since 2006.

The time has come again for me to stretch my potential and see what else I can become.

They took a teenager with excitement and passion and empowered me to be the best.
Allow the humble brag that we pulled the best English midmorning show in the country consistently these years. Bravo!

Thank you for the patience, guidance and tremendous support over the years.

To my best friends and companions on the show, the LISTENER, I’m lost for words. Thank you for accepting me and connecting with me for so long and allowing me grow over the years.

This is the end of the road for me on the midmorning show BUT certainly not the end for me CAPITAL FM UGANDA. I’ll be back in another capacity sooner than you think,” read Flavia’s post.
