Singer Cindy has revealed how she felt bad when the UMA elections were called off on Monday. The Ayokyayokya singer says she was in a comfortable lead and was already looking for a place to celebrate the after party.

She further added on how she’s confident to win the election regardless of whether its virtual or physical. The singer also said that she however understands why the board had to call off the election .

Saha’s camp appeared so rowdy and looked threatening to the EC chairman Jeff Ekolongot who decided to abide by their wishes.

“I really felt bad when the election got canceled. This is because I was leading from the very beginning. I was already calling friends asking them where to take the after party. I know why the UMA Electoral Commissioner canceled the vote. That camp of Saha surrounded him and all looked threatening to beat him if he didn’t cancel it. He therefore had no option but to call it off. I’m however confident that I will win when the election is rescheduled,” she said.

The election was rescheduled to a date that will be named in days to come after technincal glitches. Saha and his camp surrounded the UMA office at National theater after they had from the beginning been against a virtual election.
