Musician Bruno Kiggundu alias Bruno K has narrated that his young daughter Briella Kiggundu almost died because of a health practitioner’s negligence.
The singer said that he took his daughter to a hospital after uncontrollable vomiting.
It was here that a medical worker gave the girl a drug known as Plasil.
This was however done in overdose and she soon started being adversely affected.
Briella started to shake continously and having hallucinations.
She also failed to walk and this was as a result of the drug.
Bruno then decided to rush her to a one Dr Jamil who is an expert in kids.
This Dr Jamil told the singer that his daughter was given an overdose of the Plasil and besides its a drug administered to adults.
Bruno also advised parents about the dangers of this drug.
Furthermore, he also learnt a lesson that kids shouldn’t be taken to any random doctor but only qualified pediatricians.
The Faridah singer added that his daughter is now steadily recovering.
“Yesterday I almost lost my child because some one prescribed the wrong dosage for my child. She was vomiting alot, so to control the vomiting they gave her 10 Mills of plasil which is meant for an adult. My daughter started shaking continuously and having serious hallucinations.”

“These kids have to be attended to by paeds coz they understand them well. My child is recovering well but I shared this information so that parents can learn from it.”
