Diana Achieng the deceased Jacob Oulanyah’s daughter has given an emotional message about the death of his late father.
This was at Kololo Ceremonial grounds during the state funeral service accorded to the late speaker,
“On seeing my father in hospital I was shocked since I had never seen him in that state I just hugged aunt Patricia Lakidi and told her he would overcome.”
“It was a hard time when he told me my time has come take care of your siblings for me, I know you can do that I thanked him for fighting not knowing he was going.”
She also expressed how grateful they were upon the legacy left by the late speaker,
“Dad was an exceptional man, I am just learning how exceptional he was by the stories and tributes we have been listening to about him that have given me strength to know that he has left a legacy.”
According to the Jane Aceng the minister of health the speaker of Parliament die due to multiple organ failure.
He will be buried on Friday 8th-April in Lalogi Omoro district.
