The Uganda Youth Soccer Affiliation (UYFA) efficiently convened its 18th Annual Basic Assembly (AGM) at FUFA Resort, Kisaasi in Kampala on Saturday, August 22, 2026.

The spotlight of the meeting was the unanimous endorsement of Roberts Kiwanuka to proceed as Chairman for an additional four-year tenure till 2029.

Delegates from throughout the nation wholesomely endorsed Kiwanuka, lauding his management in rising youth soccer buildings, grassroots competitions and expertise identification over the previous years.

Talking after his re-election, Kiwanuka thanked the delegates for the belief vested in him and pledged to work with all stakeholders to rejuvenate youth soccer and strengthen expertise improvement pathways throughout Uganda.

“I thank the delegates for the belief. We will proceed to work with FUFA, academies, faculties and all stakeholders to make sure youth soccer is the muse of Ugandan soccer,” Kiwanuka mentioned.

Chairman Kiwanuka introduced his new Govt Committee that can serve with him till 2029.
