The music industry has been hit with sad news as singer Evelyn Lagu has been produced dead. Eddy Kenzo who heads the Uganda National Musicians Federation took to his social media pages to express his disbelief.
“We took these pictures last Tuesday at the Jam session and I can’t believe your gone dear Evelyn Lagu. You have fought abig battle my sister may your soul rest in peace,” said Kenzo alongside Lagu’s photos.
It should be noted that she has been bedridden for quite a number of years. Lagu was on the verge of death about 3 years ago but kept in fighting and with the help of well wishers, she lived to see more days.
By the time of her death, she has been having hope of fully recovering but has now sadly bit the dust. May her soul rest in peace.
