Gideon Onyango elected as Chairman Pool Affiliation of Uganda

The Pool Affiliation of Uganda has elected Gideon Onyango as their chairman for the following 4 years through the Annual Normal Assembly at Pope Paul Lodge in Rubaga.

Onyango gained 39 votes to beat his challenger Robert Kayanja to the take over management on the Affiliation.

He’ll serve alongside vice chairperson Yusuf Meyan for the following 4 years with their time period set to start out in July this 12 months.

Onyango thanked the delegates who voted for him and promised to revive the Nationwide Pool league

“I’m humbled to have been elected as chairman for the following 4 years. I thanks all of the delegates for delivering enormous numbers to vote for his or her leaders. I promise to revive the Nationwide Pool league and different competitions throughout my tenure. I belief the crew that has been elected and name upon people who misplaced the election to come back and we serve the sport collectively.” Stated Onyango

In the meantime, the outgoing chairman Bob Trubish urged the brand new govt to resolve long-standing monetary audit challenges which have hindered the affiliation.

In different positions, George Katongole defeated Emmy Jondu for the Director of Public Relations publish. Rogers Ssemanda was elected Normal Secretary, whereas Religion Nganda was elected for Girls’s Affairs, amongst others.
