After hosting a sold out concert show that featured Nigerian singer Adekunle Gold sponsored by Club Beer, Sheilah Gashumba has come up with a piece of advice to Ugandan musicians.
The TV presenter said that these Ugandan musicians should learn the power of digital PR. They should also learn that music is a busines and not a playground to fulfill their child fantasies.
According to her, these should differentiate between the music industry and music business. Sheilah is the digital PR of Adekunle Gold in East Africa and she was glad that the people knew the singer’s music word for word.
Therefore Ugandan musicians should pick a leaf and hire digital influencers to promote their music beyond the Ugandan borders.
Dear artists in Uganda, paying for PR is important, ask the artists that are being booked in Uganda. Music is a business not a playground for dreams you had when you was young !! Read this thrice!! There is the MUSIC INDUSTRY and the MUSIC BUSINESS!! Learn the difference

She also described her parents as the best since they all took time to be there for her. Her father Frank Gashumba came to the concert to support her while her mother was there during the preparations.
Honestly, both my parents have been really soo supportive!! May God give them more life. My dad came out to watch me last night at the show and my mum helped me get ready for it. Could have been nothing without the both of them ❤️
